Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) has been announced in China as a refresh to the last year’s model. The notebook comes with the 10th gen Intel Core processor with an improved cooling system with dual cooling pipe and dual fans with larger heat conduction area. The Mi Notebook Pro 15 ships with 2.5W speakers with Harman Audio and support for Dolby Audio. It has a fingerprint sensor for security, full-size backlit keyboard and 81.5 percent screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience. There is no word yet on whether this model will come to India, but we do expect Xiaomi to launch more laptops in the country now that the Mi Notebook 14 series has been announced.

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 sports a 15.6-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 178-degree wide viewing angle, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by up to Intel Core i7-10510U with UHD Graphics 620, 2GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU and up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The laptop has a built-in 1MP HD webcam, digital array microphone and connectivity features include Intel 2×2 802.11 ac Wi-Fi dual-band, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Mi Notebook Pro 15 boots Windows 10 Home Edition and ports onboard are a single HDMI, dual USB 3.1 and USB Type-C ports, 3.5mm audio jack, and a 3-in-1 card reader. It measures 360.7 x 243.6 x 16.9 mm and weighs around 2kgs. There is a 60Wh battery with 1C fast charge that is claimed to offer 50 percent charge in 40 minutes.

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) price in China is RMB 5,999 (Rs 64,300) for the Core i5, 8GB RAM, 512G storage and MX350 variant and RMB 6,999 (approx Rs 75,000) for the Core i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage and MX350 option. The laptop is already available in China.
